MiCD Global Academy membership is designed for progressive dental professionals keen on expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry (MICD) by adopting MICD Care in their clinical practice to promote MICD -Do No Harm Dentistry.
The entire process of becoming an MiCD Global Academy membership (MICDian) is free of charge. Follow these 4R key steps to become a part of the MiCD Global community:
Step 1 – REGISTER - Complete the online registration
Step 2– READ - Download and read MICD Care-CE-articles
Step 3 – REPLY – Reply to CE test questions and earn 10 CPD credits
Step 4 – RECEIVE – Receive MICD membership with exclusive access to MICD publication and to adopt and enhance MICD knowledge and skills
MICD Advocator
MICD Advocator is a professional recognition awarded to likeminded professionals by invitation, who have been working, practicing and promoting the minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry do-no-harm-dentistry at a personal level and who are willing to promote the MICD global mission.
MiCD Fellow
The MICD Fellowship is awarded based on the MICD CPD points (26 CE points in theory and 24 CE points in clinical skills) earned by the members as per the requirement of each MICD Care domains (LIFEstyle, Functional Health & Smile Aesthetic) and members can select one of the two pathways to pursue the MICD fellowship accreditation process.
Self-Learning pathway: Members can upgrade their knowledge through local MICD study club or the online MICD learning process and earn prescribed MICD CPD points to fulfil theory requirements, and submit online, the prescribed no of clinical cases to the Accreditation Committee to earn CPD points for clinical skills.
Guided-Learning pathway: Members can join their desired MICD Masterclass organized by the MICD Global Academy affiliated training institutes / dental colleges / professional societies and earn prescribed MICD theory and skills CPD points as per the requirements of the MICD Care domain.
MiCD Diplomat
MiCD Diplomat is based on the concept of knowledge charity and is the highest status that can be achieved in the MICD membership pathway. Dedicated MICD members or advocates with a passion for sharing their knowledge and skill with the wider dental community are required to accumulate 200 Continuing Professional Charity Credits (CPC) by committing their time through a variety of MICD CPC activities.
Distinguished Honorary Member
Distinguished Honorary Member is a status provided by the MICD Global Academy to clinicians, academicians and researchers around the world, who have made a significant contribution in the field of minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry with their knowledge, skills and research; and have been able to create a positive impact in the promotion of comprehensive patient care. The distinguished honorary membership is awarded through an official invitation.
